She closed her eyes and turned away, a faint smile on her face, a tear drifting down her cheek. The note lay in her hand:
Anna, it’s been an amazing experience knowing you.

It looks like the Trifectra editors are closing the weekly prompts and though I will miss the weekly stretch (I’m usually too wordy when I write) I am all the more grateful to have been a part of this competition.
It has been an honor Trifectra!

I love that your post is a sweet, romantic little memory as well as a tribute to Trifecta. Lovely job.

Well now, I have a feeling that we haven’t seen the last teary-eyed post this week. Yours was beautifully-understated and spoke voloumes about how we all feel. I, too, feel incredibly fortunate to have been invited to be a part of this community. I wish you luck in the future and thank you for sharing your talent over the past months. 🙂

Simple and soulful. Let’s hope Trifecta is reborn elsewhere. Would hate to see it go.

Oh, this is really quite sad. I saw another commenter used the word “soulful”, which I think just sums it up perfectly. 🙂 Nice work.

Powerful and dark. So much captured in just 33 words. Well crafted: “she had a faint smile on her face.” To give this little piece that level of detail and food for thought..Nice work!
