Guard Spires – Poetry Prompt #15

image: “Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh
 Time stands suspended,
Lights slow in movement, I see
Happiness is more.

Below the moon rests
People after day of work.
Dreams are so fluid.

Color glint spires
Twist up into the night sky
And guard the dreamers.

I love stars and anything to do with the sky…

A perfect guard for us dreamers, indeed! I love your take on the artwork, it is always amazing and special to see how every person in the world sees it and what it inspires in them.

I really like the opening stanza, and how you’ve made the connection between “happiness” and “dreams” through your pattern of lines.
