I was in a Family History class during Sunday School one month and we were looking at ancestors way down the line. Everyone else in the class was going: “I’m related to this king/queen/royalty person.”
As we went around the room, we got to me. I raised my hand slowly and said my piece.
“Bank robbers.”
I am thankful for finding humor in my personal life no matter how dreary it looks or how bleary-eyed I am.
Make sure to check out the original Thankful Thursday.

I can sympathize, some of my ancestors were not the most upstanding members of society, but I would gather that our questionable relatives are much more colorful than their kings and queens were. 🙂

It was a lot of fun when I first found out, but I was a pre-teen at the time and didn’t really understand the concept too much. I was too busy reading Dungeons and Dragons books and so thought the thieves were ‘cool’.

I read this at work and did not have a chance to comment. I love this post! who cares about kings and queens…so boring!! I am afraid there was fraud, pedophilia, rape, assault as in bar fights.
