Can’t wait to hop out the door
Or scurry through the snow.
Not stopping to even take a breath
Since I know where I want to go!
Until this moment all winter long
My world has been nothing but grey
Eventually I knew that white would fill my day.

Well it finally snowed and then stuck for the first time this winter! It was wonderful to see the way the snow continued to fall all day long yesterday. The world seemed consumed by the gently falling crystals.

Thank you! I’m using my ‘back-up’ that doesn’t have a scratched lens so the pictures are sharper.

Oh dear – I’ve scratched a lens on my camera before. Very annoying! Glad you had a back-up!

The only irritating thing about the backup is moving things over to it. It’s taking a lot longer than I initially thought it would.

Your excitement to scurry out into the snow makes me smile. That’s how it is here in coastal Carolina where is snows so rarely, it’s a big event and almost everything closes. I long for the beauty of snow, especially in mid week. 🙂 and enjoy living it through your words and eyes.

We had a lot of snow here when I was younger, but it’s been more rare now that I’m an adult. Or maybe I just pay more attention to it. (*chuckles*) I was kind of spacey as a kid.

Nice to see snow in picture form.

I was ecstatic when it stayed this time. We’ve had a couple of days with snow this winter, but it always melted before I could snap a picture. Luckily, it’s still here by today.

Love the picture of the trees, especially since I don’t live where there’s much snow.
