Have you ever wished for an endless night? –Pink, Glitter in the Air
It was a perfect day.
The rain was falling right alongside the hale coming down the size of nickels and small pebbles. The wind was threatening to break branches off of the trees surrounding the house and crash them through the windows if the wind didn’t break the windows all by itself. The lights had been out for going on two hours and the heat had failed slightly before that.
But it was perfect because not only did they have enough food, water and toilet paper to last several weeks, but they had one another and after everything they’d gone through in order to have even just that much nothing would be able to get them down ever again.
