She closed her eyes and turned away, a faint smile on her face, a tear drifting down her cheek. The note lay in her hand:

It looks like the Trifectra editors are closing the weekly prompts and though I will miss the weekly stretch (I’m usually too wordy when I write) I am all the more grateful to have been a part of this competition.
