There comes a time in your life when you have so many things seeming to pile on you (although, this week isn’t actually as bad as some others I’ve had in the past…) It can make it very hard to find the brightness in things.
But then someone comes along and does something that is very simple seeming, but made all the difference you needed. Just one small and simple thing to go right for a change.
I won’t go into detail on what all went wrong this week (or week and a half), but I am very grateful for people (family, friends, strangers) who do one small thing that helped you whether or not they realized that you needed it.
So I am grateful for small and simple things, because they are the things that make all the difference.
