Sissy Resting – Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Sissy and her naps. She likes to snuggle up against you sometimes when she sleeps and she’s warm and soft.

Sorry this is so short, but I wanted to get it in because I love doing this every Thursday.
Don’t Sleep In
It happened at sunrise on Christmas morn,
The children were sleeping
At first, quite soundly.
Then there came the sound of feet
Running down stairs,
Or was it up?
I was sleeping soundly,
And so only heard it distantly.
Not soundly enough, though,
As I heard a shout.
“I told you kids not to open ALL the presents!
Just the ones with your names on them!”
